Description
Automated External Defibrillation (AED) is a life-saving technique that is revolutionizing first aid and pre-hospital cardiac care. St. John Ambulance programs offer a review and practice of CPR skills as well as training in the use of AED equipment.
This course provides the knowledge and skills to properly utilize this important lifesaving device. The AED allows first-aiders to provide defibrillation to someone with a stopped heart, greatly increasing the chances for survival. Our Instructors have the highest expertise based on our commitment to on-going training, review and active involvement with use of the equipment in real life situations.
