Education Dreams Achieved by Barton Reading and Spelling System

Linda Sampson is an adult learner with Dyslexia. Before enrolling in the Barton Reading and Spelling System at Corona College, Linda lacked the confidence and skills of a functional reader. After completing the Barton program, Linda completed the Level III Adult Basic Education course at Corona, and she didn’t plan to stop there. Linda then pursued her career in the health care field and went on to complete the Personal Care Attendant program and is now working full-time.

“I am enjoying simple pleasures like reading novels, writing little stories about my past …. Being able to read has brought me out of my shell … Now that I know I can do it, I know I will.”
